Weekends Running Out to Ride Wee Georgie

Wee Georgie Wood Steam Railway

Located on the shores of Lake Rosebery, at the base of Mt Farrell, Tullah in the wild west is home to the Wee Georgie Wood Steam Railway.

This much-loved tourist attraction only runs through the warmer months of the year and there is only five weekends left to hop aboard this little engine that could before the season ends.

Georgie is the 102-year-old steam locomotive that for many decades provided the only connection to the outside world for the isolated mining town of Tullah.

Operating since the 1980s as a local tourist destination, visitors can ride along part of the original railway route and enjoy the sites, sounds and smells of this West Coast must do.

Rides start at 10am and continue to 3pm with each ride taking approximately 20 minutes.
